Pampa Technologies - Who We Are

WHAT WE DO TODAY - MOBILE BOTS & FULL STACK DEV

Pampa Technologies is a robotics systems integration company rooted in mobile robot automation for the automotive industry. Our core expertise lies in the design, deployment, and coordination of mobile robotic systems such as AGVs and AMRs—technologies that rely on wireless communication, real-time decision-making, and integration across disconnected systems.

Unlike traditional fixed robot integrators (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA), we focus on mobile, dynamic systems that require intelligent orchestration. To support this, we’ve developed a suite of proprietary digital tools and cloud-based platforms—such as traffic controllers and fleet coordination software—that allow mobile robots to operate collaboratively and safely across complex factory environments.

Beyond mobile robots, and thanks to our strong in-house software engineering team and trusted customer relationships, we also design and deliver custom digital tools (software). These projects—often cloud-based solutions—are not always directly tied to mobile robots, but they strengthen our software architecture expertise, build recurring client trust, and contribute to our profitability as we grow.

This combination of hardware integration, cloud software development, and deep industry alignment allows us to support our current customers while building the capabilities needed for the next evolution in robotics.

WHERE WE'RE GOING NEXT - HUMAN BOTS INTEGRATION

As the industry begins adopting humanoid robots—such as Tesla Optimus or Figure AI —for production tasks, we see a natural progression from mobile robot integration to human-robot system integration. Like AGVs and AMRs, humanoid robots are wirelessly connected, physically mobile, and dependent on real-time coordination with their environment.

Our goal is to become a leading partner in enabling their deployment by building the digital infrastructure, software tools, and workflow logic that allow humanoids to:

  • Detect and validate sensor inputs (e.g., poka-yoke)
  • Communicate directly with existing machinery (e.g., robotic welding cells)
  • Trigger operations digitally without human-equivalent physical gestures
  • Operate safely and efficiently alongside both humans and automation

As factories evolve toward intelligent, collaborative automation, Pampa Technologies is positioned to lead the next generation of system integration—where software, mobility, and human-robot interaction converge in real-world production environments.

Ushering in the Next Industrial Revolution: Pampa Technologies is not just looking at the future; we are building it. Our primary strategic aim is to revolutionize the automotive industry by integrating sophisticated humanoid robots into its core operations.

THE BAY AREA, OUR HOME, HEART OF AI & HUMAN BOTS

Pampa Technologies was founded in the San Francisco Bay Area, operating in Fremont and Santa Clara for the past 17 years. Our headquarters, primary R&D hub, and main implementation center are located in this global epicenter of technology and innovation.

Being based in the Bay Area gives us a distinct advantage in human-robot integration:

  • We’re surrounded by leading companies pushing the boundaries of humanoid robotics and AI.
  • We have direct access to world-class talent, top-tier research institutions, and advanced technology ecosystems.
  • We maintain strong personal relationships with experts shaping the future of automation—because even in a digital world, face-to-face collaboration matters.

The Bay Area Human Robotics Ecosystem

Here are just some of the pioneering organizations in our neighborhood advancing humanoid and human-augmentation technologies:

  • Tesla (Optimus) – a general-purpose factory humanoid (Fremont)
  • Figure AI (Figure) – AI-powered humanoid robots (San Jose) backed up by Open AI and Microsoft. Using their own Helix brain with on board GPU and Chat GPT integration. Deploying in BMW SC.
  • 1X Technologies (NEO Gamma) – NEO home-use humanoid robots (Palo Alto) backed up by Open AI.
  • Open AI – Advancing 3D intelligence with the latest AI breakthroughs (San Francisco) investing in Figure AI and 1X.
  • Alphabet/X (Gemini Robotics and DeepMind Robotics) – DeepMind Robotics applies Google’s Gemini AI models as the ‘brain’ for robots, uniting vision, language, and reasoning with real-world action (Palo Alto)
  • Meta (Reality Labs) – AI-powered humanoid robot development led by Marc Whitten (Palo Alto)
  • NVIDIA (GR00T) – Generalist Robot 00 Technology (open source) is a research and development platform focused on humanoid robotics using Reflex and Reason modules (Santa Clara, San Jose)
